Pharmacies licensed in multiple states are required to comply with the regulations and standards of those states. Many state boards will adopt USP <800> in December, 2019, and others have already begun to inspect pharmacies based on USP <800> standards and state regulations for hazardous drug handling that pre-date USP <800>.
