This dibasic chemical, also known as Calcium hydrogen phosphate, presents as a white, odorless powder. It is soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, and ammonium citrate solution. It is also slightly soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. Store in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed containers at ambient temperatures - this substance is also stable but anhydrous and moisture sensitive. Calcium Phosphate Dibasic is found in nature as the mineral monetite, and is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents but is also non-toxic.
